About

Emily Williams teaches seminar-style classes that rely on close reading and discussion to explore the ideas of writers and thinkers both in and outside of academia. She was certified to teach online in 2019, and uses contract grading in order to foster student autonomy and equity in the classroom. In her free time, she reads, cooks, throws pottery and explores the great outdoors.
