About
Professor Fortney is interested in finding ways to help students learn in spite of the academic hardships often found in higher education. This means exploring what it means to cede power to students and let them make decisions about what and how we learn. He believes he learn as much from his students as they can from him, and it's only in collaboration, he believes, that everyone can get better.
