About

Dr. Frank Cha joined the Department of Focused Inquiry in 2015. He teaches UNIV 111, 112 and 200 and currently serves as Graduate Teaching Assistant coordinator. Prior to VCU, he taught at John Tyler Community College (becoming Brightpoint) and the College of William and Mary, where he earned his Ph.D. in American Studies. His research interests include racial equity in higher education, the U.S. South, Asian American studies, and contemporary immigration.
