About

Jason Coats joined the Department of Focused Inquiry in 2010. Prior to joining the University College, he taught as the Edgar F. Shannon Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Virginia, where he also received his Ph.D. in 2008. His publications have appeared in journals such as Twentieth Century Literature, South Atlantic Review, Modernist Cultures, Narrative, and Modernism/modernity. He also has a chapter about Yeats’s tower Thoor Ballylee in a book collection called Security and Hospitality due out from Routledge in Fall 2015.
