About

Jason Kirby joined the Department of Focused Inquiry in 2018. Prior to joining the Department of FOcused Inquiry, he taught courses in writing, music history, and American Studies at the University of Virginia and Bowling Green State University. Dr. Kirby's doctoral dissertation focused on genre and antimodernism in country-rock and alt country music, 1968-1998. Currently, he is developing his dissertation into a book manuscript.
