About
Professor Williams joined the department in 2007. Originally from Virginia Beach, he moved to Richmond to pursue a Bachelor’s degree, and eventually a Master of Fine Arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Professor Williams has taught more than 100 sections of UNIV courses. As a faculty mentor, Professor Williams has worked with dozens of Undergraduate Teaching Assistants over the years and he continues to enjoy the support of UTA’s in his classrooms. Professor Williams promotes active and experiential learning in his courses, requiring students to be engaged, involved, and thoughtful.
