Ariel Lawrence, Ph.D., is a professor in the department of Focused Inquiry. She is a scholar of African American literature with a specific focus on Black Women’s Lifewriting practices. Her classes feature Creative Nonfiction pedagogy, Cultural Rhetoric, and Critical Digital Literacy.
