Ayden Parish joined Focused Inquiry as a Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow in fall 2024. Aydn is interested in questions around how neurodiverse conditions like autism affect language, communication, and identity. In their teaching, they are especially dedicated to increasing accessibility in the classroom for those with disabilities and diverse neurotypes. They have taught courses in linguistics centering on the role of power in language and the role of language in power.
